Rich Products Corporation in Gallatin, Tennessee is seeking a Material Handler to ship, receive and move packaging, ingredients and finished goods in a fast-paced, cold environment. Responsibilities include following safety rules, maintaining GMP standards, inspecting forklifts, recording deliveries, organizing materials, assisting with cycle counts and staging for production.

Candidates should read, write and speak English, have basic math and computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• One year or more material handling experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Mansioni

• Observes safety rules and uses PPE.
• Follows GMP and keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Inspects batteries, lights, tires and other forklift components daily.
• Verifies deliveries by counting and comparing with receipts.
• Enters delivery receipts and material handling data into the computer system.
• Organizes/rotates old materials with new.
• Housekeeping: remove or repair debris daily.
• Assists management with inventory balances through cycle counts.
• Labels open/partial ingredients and packaging.
• Checks production schedules to stage packaging and ingredients.
• Performs all other warehouse and freezer duties.
• Must be able to operate all forklift equipment and be recertified annually.
• Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment.
