Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Principal/Sr Principal Material Estimating Pricing Analyst to prepare material estimates for proposal submittals, interpret customer requirements from RFPs, and coordinate with proposal teams to shape estimating strategy.

Ideal candidates bring pricing or material estimating experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. On-site roles with travel to Elkton, MD and Rocket Center, WV are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or related field or Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Prior pricing or material estimating experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by understanding customer requirements from RFPs.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to develop estimating strategy and interface with multiple departments.
• Select pricing methods (e.g., PO history, vendor quotes) for each item in the proposal.
• Work on multiple priority proposals concurrently and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR.
• Support reviews with Bills of Materials, CERs, and supporting data; prepare BOM pricing templates.
