Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems invites qualified professionals to join a team preparing material estimates for complex government contracts. The role emphasizes collaborating across functions to develop pricing strategies, Bills of Materials, and CERs while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and TINA in a fast-paced proposal environment.

Ideal candidates bring pricing/estimating experience, strong proposal background, and U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Prior pricing or material estimating experience
U.S. Citizenship required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required

Responsibilities

Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by understanding customer requirements (RFPs and requests).
Collaborate with proposal technical teams to develop pricing strategy and interface with multiple organizations.
Create Bills of Materials and CERs; support proposal reviews and pricing models.
Support risk assessment, fact-finding, government audits, negotiations, and certifications with TINA compliance.
