Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a materials planning coordinator for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will support material planning and/or coordination on a large project site, implementing the Material Management Plan and acting as a liaison between Project and Field Procurement and Construction for accurate reporting of materials.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of field materials management processes and ERP systems.
• Experience in project procurement and coordination with engineering teams.
• Strong cross-functional communication and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Material Management Plan with Engineering and Construction during front-end activities.
• Optimizes materials planning processes for key material commodities.
• Ensures consistent material identification and efficient Purchase and Supply processes.
• Identifies approval requirements that could impact deliverables and schedules.
• Coordinates with Engineering on critical drawings and supplier data influencing delivery.
• Maintains relationships with Project Controls, Supply Chain, Automation Support and Construction.
• Monitors schedules to ensure alignment with construction milestones.
