Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Material Planning/Coordination specialist for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. The role focuses on implementing the Material Management Plan and ensuring timely delivery of materials to the site.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–14 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Material Management Plan and coordinates materials with Engineering and Construction.
• Optimizes materials planning processes for key commodities.
• Ensures consistent material identification and efficient Purchase and Supply.
• Identifies approval requirements that could impact timely engineering deliverables.
• Coordinates with Engineering on critical drawings and data needed for timely deliverables.
• Maintains relationships with Project Controls, Supply Chain, Automation Support and Construction Coordinators.
