Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior Quality/Materials leader to direct the Material Control Laboratory. You will oversee testing, calibrations, and quality initiatives across engineering, operations, and supply chain. Strong leadership and CI skills are essential to drive improvement and compliance.

Role is onsite in the US with a salary range of $107,500 to $204,500 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Candidates must meet US citizenship requirements and be able to access program data as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s with leadership experience.
• Strong Lean CI, Kaizen, VSM, 6S, TPM knowledge.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with multi-team impact.
• Supervisory or leadership responsibilities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Material Control Laboratory and testing.
• Manage multiple teams, staffing, and development.
• Develop long-term lab capability and digital transformation roadmap.
• Act as senior technical authority on quality, materials, and manufacturing.
• Oversee engineering change reviews to ensure QA compliance.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive audit readiness and coordinate with auditors.
• Represent Quality in customer discussions and strategic reviews.
• Sponsor cross-functional improvements and standard work deployment.
• Manage lab budget, capital planning, and policy development.
• Ensure certification training and vision screening compliance.
