Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks a Senior Material Verification Engineer to lead disposition and management of nonconforming material across RTX facilities and GXO, our 3PL partner. This onsite role is based in Tucson, AZ, with regular on-site support in Marana, AZ, and requires the ability to obtain an interim security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s in STEM or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience; advanced degree 3+ years.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prior experience with material disposition and non-conformance management.
• Must be able to obtain/interim clearance prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage nonconforming material across Raytheon/RTX facilities and 3PL partner GXO.
• Support Return to Vendor (RTV) activities and ensure timely disposition of material.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; drive continuous improvement using CORE.
• Coordinate with inspectors to move material efficiently through inspection after disposition.
