Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks experienced Mates for our U.S. flag fleet.

Mates are senior shipboard officers reporting directly to the Captain and are responsible for safe vessel operations, adherence to company and regulatory standards, and representing the company as a professional leader. Our Mates pilot on inland and coastal waterways with 100–200 guests, supervise deck teams, and develop piloting expertise across coastal and river routes, ensuring five-star guest service and meticulous vessel

Qualifications

• Must hold a U.S. Coast Guard Mate license (min 100 GRT) with Near Coastal endorsement; 1,600 GRT preferred.
• TWIC credential required.
• Experience piloting on coastal and river waterways.
