Job summary

Ascentec Engineering in Dallas, Oregon is seeking a highly skilled Mastercam CNC Programmer to join our on-site team. You will develop advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Mastercam programs for aerospace, spaceflight, and defense components, turning complex customer designs into accurate, reliable programs with speed and precision.

The ideal candidate has senior-level experience, deep Mastercam expertise, and a proven ability to rapidly translate CAD models into production-ready code while ensuring

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience independently programming complex, high-tolerance multi-axis components.
• Advanced Mastercam proficiency with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining.
• Experience with simultaneous 5-axis applications preferred.
• Strong understanding of NC code, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
• Experience with CNC verification and simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced CNC programs using Mastercam for aerospace, spaceflight, and defense components.
• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills, including simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths.
• Rapidly develop CNC programs from customer CAD models, drawings, and specs.
• Prioritize quick-turn programming and rapid response to customer requirements.
