Ascentec Engineering in Tualatin, Oregon, seeks a Mastercam CNC Programmer to create high-end 3-, 4-, and 5-axis programs for aerospace, spaceflight, and defense components. The role emphasizes rapid development, tight tolerances, and debugging of complex toolpaths.

You will drive programming strategy, tooling concepts, and Mastercam workflows, then hand off to NP I programmers for setup and prove-out. Onsite position, ITAR compliance required, no visa sponsorship.

Formación

• Senior-level experience programming complex high-tolerance multi-axis components.
• Advanced proficiency with Mastercam and 5-axis programming.
• Strong understanding of NC code, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machine capabilities.
• Ability to interpret drawings, CAD models, GD&T and specifications.
• Experience with verification and simulation of CNC programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop advanced CNC programs using Mastercam for aerospace, spaceflight, and defense components.
• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, including simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths.
• Rapidly develop programs from CAD models and specs; ensure quick-turn turnaround.
• Verify toolpaths and simulate to prevent collisions and errors.
• Maintain organized programs and support cross-functional teams.
