Ascentec Engineering in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop and implement robust Mastercam-based machining processes for complex 4- and 5-axis components. You will own projects end‑to‑end, troubleshoot on the shop floor, and collaborate with international teams to improve manufacturability and quality.

Competenze

• 5+ years Mastercam programming experience.
• Experience programming and fixturing for horizontal 4- axis and horizontal/vertical 5-axis CNCs.
• 5 axis mills with turning a plus.
• Strong print reading and GD&T fundamentals.
• Ability to read CMM and quality reports with traditional measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling, materials, and machining methods.
• Able to work on the shop floor with an international team across time zones.
• Professional communication with cultural awareness.
• Strong computer skills and data management.
• Associate degree in manufacturing or related field is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop and program machining processes for complex precision components using Mastercam.
• Design machining strategies and fixtures for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
• Own projects from concept to production release and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor.
• Support legacy parts and existing production processes.
• Collaborate with international engineering and manufacturing partners.
• Interpret CMM reports, dimensional data, and inspection results with the Quality team.
