Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Master Scheduler to develop, manage, and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule for a high-priority program. You will work with program leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to capture requirements, milestones, dependencies, and constraints.

The role requires eight or more years of scheduling experience, proficiency with Microsoft Project, and the ability to perform schedule risk analysis and communicate status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years as Master Scheduler.
• Experience with schedule development and maintenance.
• Experience with schedule risk analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication and briefing skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the program.
• Update schedules weekly and prepare schedule presentation materials.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, milestones, dependencies, and constraints.
• Utilize scheduling tools to create, maintain, and update the master schedule.
• Support the Lead Program Manager in coordination of internal and external teams to achieve milestones.
• Create, develop, and manage project plans.
• Coordinate and establish project milestones.
• Develop comprehensive project timelines.
• Track and brief project status as requested.
• Apply risk management practices to scheduling and execution.
• Identify scheduling shortfalls, risks, or obstacles to minimize impacts.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation.
