Job summary

Plug Power Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Lead Production Planner to develop and manage the integrated Master Production Schedule for Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer stack operations.

You will coordinate with Product Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales and Supply Chain to align demand with planning processes and drive on-time delivery of quality products. The role requires strong scheduling and cross-functional collaboration, with experience in ERP/MRP systems and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• ASCM certifications preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma green belt or black belt preferred.
• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and master data.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership for product line planning activities across Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sales.
• Maintain the integrated Master Production Schedule for Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer stack operations.
• Own and optimize planning parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, planning horizons).
• Interface with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Finance and Field Service for priority communication.
• Lead cross-functional escalation and recovery for material constraints.
• Develop Rochester Supply Chain metrics and operating reviews.
• Represent Rochester Supply Chain at S&OP meetings and communicate constraints and recovery actions.
• Ensure BOM structures and material master data support accurate planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and execution.
