Job summary

Elbit Systems of America is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to develop and implement master production schedules based on customer deliveries and forecasts, ensuring optimal use of production capacity and timely, cost-effective manufacturing of quality products.

You will coordinate with material, production, sales, and engineering to provide schedules, maintain forecasts, and support S&OP processes in an ERP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or technical discipline or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in a master scheduling or planning role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Professional Certification (e.g. CPIM, CSCP) preferred
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems required, Oracle strongly preferred
• Experience working with forecasts
• Experience with the Sales and Operations Planning process
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite - Excel in particular.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in day-to-day responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
• Ability to multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze and define problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains master production schedules in ERP to maximize capacity utilization.
• Coordinate material procurement and build plans to support master schedules.
• Enter and maintain forecasts in ERP based on customer demand and internal forecasts.
• Maintain Master Delivery and Master Production Schedules in ERP.
• Interface with stakeholders on schedule changes and WIP status.
• Coordinate material movement with purchasing, inventory, production and engineering.
• Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly status reports and participate in required meetings.
• Lead cross-functional schedule and delivery meetings.
• Provide manufacturing floor guidance and establish priorities for committed deliveries.
• Update item data, order modifiers, and planning parameters in Oracle.
• Communicate production status to Customer Service and Project/Product teams.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or technical discipline

8-10 years of experience in master scheduling or planning in manufacturing

Experience with forecasts

Experience with Sales and Operations Planning process

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask and manage projects in fast-paced environment
