Job summary

Novelis is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Master Planning in Atlanta, GA. This role leads master data setup, planning parameters, and coordination across S&OP, procurement, and production to ensure the plan aligns with demand and capacity for the assigned product line.

You will troubleshoot planning issues, analyze SAP APO data in Excel, monitor orders and lead times, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. A strong data mindset and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar with exposure to supply chain management.
• 5+ years of related experience in multinational manufacturing or similar industry.
• Prior SAP APO experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manipulate, cleanse and analyze large data sets in Excel
• Proven understanding of SAP APO planning parameters and their interaction in order execution
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Desire to take initiative and develop proactive relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders
• Must be flexible to operate in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot planning issues reported by AMS, production planners, and tolling planners for the assigned product line.
• Review concordance between SAP data and S&OP; monitor order bookings versus S&OP and available capacity.
• Recommend lead time changes when appropriate.
• Coordinate product route changes to respond to outages or capacity constraints.
• Initiate and supervise Master Data Management (MDM) requests.
• Oversee SAP alerts to identify system issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review order status and metal position in SAP from procurement to delivery to ensure timely production.
• Review and initiate MDM data parameters (e.g., lot size, lead time).
• Ensure lead times align with manufacturing lead times and historical data.
• Collaborate with facility planning teams to expedite hot/rush orders.
• Work with process/quality engineers to ensure accuracy of master data parameters for product specs
