Job summary

Novelis in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior S&OP Planning Manager to own end-to-end supply planning for the Oswego Network. You will translate demand, capacity, inventory strategy and sourcing options into a single actionable plan, coordinating with Commercial, Demand Planning and Operations teams to meet service and working capital goals.

The role blends analytical rigor with influential leadership, requires cross-functional collaboration, and involves advancing planning maturity through tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, S&OP or related planning in a multinational manufacturing company.
• High proficiency in data analysis, scenario modeling, and turning data into decisions.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP, annual and strategic planning cycles for the network.
• Build and maintain a balanced demand, production, inventory, and external supply plan.
• Validate planning assumptions including demand, inventory targets and routings.
• Identify risks early, quantify impact, develop scenarios and action plans.
• Facilitate network reviews and present recommendations for executive approval.
• Coordinate inputs across Commercial, Demand Planning, Operations and Near-term planning.
