Novelis, a leader in aluminum recycling and rolling, is seeking a Supply Chain Leader, Near Term Planning in the Atlanta area. The role leads weekly production and capacity planning, inventory planning, and near-term supply-demand balancing across the manufacturing network, reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Planning.

The ideal candidate will translate inputs from facility, demand, and sales planning into a feasible 1–8 week production plan, resolve constraints through material-flow

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, computer science with a supply chain focus, or a comparable field.
• Five to seven years of supply chain experience in metals with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, delivery, and capacity utilization in supply chain.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate data into business context.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across all levels.
• Demonstrated flexibility, urgency, and sound judgment in disruptions.
• Leadership experience developing a direct team and influencing stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Create near-term production plans balancing demand, supply, capacity, and inventory.
• Coordinate material rerouting and countermeasures with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor network supply-demand balance and identify constraints early.
• Develop KPIs and reporting for plan performance and capacity utilization.
• Provide insights to network leadership for informed decisions.
• Hold stakeholders accountable to sales, production, and inventory targets.
• Coach and develop team members and lead planning process enhancements.
• Support end-to-end planning software development and best practices.
