Job summary

Novelis seeks a Supply Chain Leader, Near Term Planning to drive weekly production and capacity planning across the manufacturing network from Atlanta. Translate inputs into a balanced 1–8 week production plan, resolve constraints, and provide clear performance insights to stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, with a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to advance within supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, CS or a related field.
• 5–7 years of supply chain experience in metals, with leadership exposure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to translate inputs into feasible production plans and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit near-term production plans for each facility, balancing demand, supply, capacity, and inventory.
• Resolve capacity or inventory constraints by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor network balance and initiate countermeasures with Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams.
• Develop and manage KPIs and reporting for plan performance and inventory.
• Provide regular insights and reports to leadership for informed decision-making.
• Develop team members through coaching and assignments.
