Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a Senior Manager, Master Data Management to own the end-to-end lifecycle of core data domains, ensuring a single, trusted version of records across systems. You will design matching rules, resolve duplicates, and collaborate with data stewards to maintain data integrity.

The role emphasizes hands-on MDM work, including reference data structures and governance, with guidance from the Director, Data Governance. Strong SQL and platform experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in master data management, data quality, or enterprise data management.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Hands-on experience managing at least two master data domains in a multi-system environment.
• Proficiency with entity resolution techniques, including deterministic/probabilistic matching and survivorship rules.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to profile data and support remediation workflows.
• Experience with at least one data integration/ETL tool to move and reconcile master data.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP platforms and their native data management capabilities.
• Ability to translate MDM concepts into practical documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver MDM initiatives in resource-constrained environments without dedicated MDM software.
• Hands-on experience with a dedicated MDM platform (e.g., Reltio) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own the master data lifecycle for core domains (patients, organizations, employees, programs, partners).
• Define golden record standards and survivorship rules for data conflicts.
• Design and enforce entity matching logic across CRM and operational systems.
• Build and maintain master data registry using available tooling.
• Advise on hierarchies and relationships within data domains.
