Job summary

Amgen in Washington, DC-area is seeking a Senior Manager, Master Data Management & Reference Data to translate business priorities into scalable data capabilities and to lead enterprise MDM, reference data, and data governance initiatives across functions.

You will drive governance, data standards, onboarding, and survivorship while partnering with Data Governance, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver measurable improvements using platforms such as SciBite or TopQuadrant.

Qualifications

• Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with regulated processes.
• Experience with MDM and terminology management platforms such as SciBite or TopQuadrant.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as data engagement lead for assigned business function and deliver data improvements.
• Co-develop enterprise MDM and Reference Data roadmaps aligned with priorities.
• Lead MDM and Reference Data initiatives across critical domains (customer, product, supplier, material, study, organizational).
• Establish governance processes, standards, stewardship, and quality controls.
• Lead implementation and enhancement of Reltio MDM capabilities (onboarding, matching, survivorship, hierarchy, workflows, integrations).
• Lead enterprise Reference Data capabilities (onboarding, enrichment, workflows, governance, integrations).
• Advance semantic and terminology management using platforms like SciBite or TopQuadrant.
• Partner with business, Data Governance, Architecture, and Data Engineering to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Lead internal teams and external partners, reporting progress to senior leadership.
