Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Master Data Office. You will identify opportunities for improvements, support governance, and drive data initiatives across vendor, product, and item domains.

You will manage requests, document processes, and collaborate with business units and IT, delivering timely insights and ensuring adherence to data governance standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Retail or IT, with strong process, data, and systems understanding.
• Prior Data Governance and Administration experience or exposure preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of business process documentation that includes Merchandising, IT or Finance workflows, processes and requirements.
• Ability to work with both business (non-technical) and IT (technical) with ability to communicate/translate requirements between all parties.
• Strong understanding of productivity suite software (i.e. Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for multiple business departments, address regular requests, and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze data to provide insights and improve business visibility.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive governance and data initiatives.
• Document governance processes and establish reporting structures for Master Data.
• Manage workflow and requests in Master Data Management tools and ensure governance compliance.
