Job summary

Colaberry in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support and analyze data anomalies across environments including Data Warehouse, ODS and Data Management initiatives. You will collaborate with Business, DBA, ETL and Governance teams to provide analysis and support for complex data projects.

Responsibilities include investigating data issues, documenting transformations, supporting data movements, and assisting in Data Governance and Master Data Management setup and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL experience in OLTP, Data Warehouse and Big Data databases.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle Exadata and SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years in data engineering or software development, with hands-on experience in MDM implementations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate in a team.
• 2+ years writing medium to complex stored procedures is a plus.
• Extensive experience with data movement and processing including ETL, API, OLAP, and data lineage.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and REST API development.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and Analyze data anomalies and data issues reported by Business.
• Work with ETL, Replication and DBA teams to document data transformations and movements.
• Support consistent data movement methodologies and pro-active issue resolution.
• Assist in break fix and production validation related to data derivations and replication.
• Assist in configuration and setup of Data Virtualization and Master Data Management tools.
• Maintain documentation for Data Standardization definitions, Data Dictionary and Data Lineage.
• Gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced agile environment across multiple projects.
