The ideal candidate has 8+ years of law firm experience, Bar admission, strong drafting and data management skills, and the ability to direct teams of paralegals and attorneys across claims administration.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school and active Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 8 years of significant mass tort experience, including at least three years in litigation at a law firm.
• Experience in claims resolution and settlement drafting, with a focus on pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer products sectors.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple teams and work streams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with matter management systems and claims administration platforms; ability to oversee settlement governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support settlement negotiations in complex product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, and consumer product matters.
• Help develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria.
• Serve as primary legal and operations lead for efficient, compliant settlements and claims administration.
• Work directly with plaintiffs’ counsel to draft, review, and finalize settlement documents and resolve disputes.
• Manage teams of nurse paralegals and attorneys to assess incoming claims and categorization.
• Perform data analysis across claims to identify trends and monitor settlement values.
• Oversee all aspects of settlement implementation and claims administration, including workflow and QA.
