Job Title: Senior Marketing Specialist

Location: 100% remote role – US time zones only

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Director of Marketing

We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven Senior Marketing Specialist to help us tell our story, expand our reach, and elevate our brand. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing Director and our CEO, David Ackert—best-selling author of The Short List. You’ll be mentored by seasoned leaders while having the independence to own and drive key projects from start to finish.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who’s ready to take the reins, make smart decisions, and create meaningful work that drives growth and builds influence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, video, web, content, email, and events.
  • Write, design, and publish compelling marketing materials that reflect our expert voice and visual identity.
  • Manage our HubSpot CRM to support lead generation, marketing automation, and customer retention.
  • Plan and execute high-impact event logistics, including webinars, sponsorships, and conference participation.
  • Create clear and actionable creative briefs to align internal teams and drive successful outcomes.
  • Partner with the sales team to support product launches, BD campaigns, and outreach strategies.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, competitor strategies, and client insights to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Track performance and manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and ensure fiscal responsibility.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong background in digital marketing and brand growth.
  • Proven ability to create and execute marketing programs that drive measurable results.
  • Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in video production, motion graphics, editing, or scriptwriting is a big plus.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot, Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Planner or Asana, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A collaborative spirit and entrepreneurial mindset—you take initiative, adapt quickly, and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while staying organized and detail-oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
