Job summary

JoVE seeks a detail-oriented Senior Marketing Operations Specialist with advanced HubSpot expertise to own and improve marketing operations, including email marketing, marketing automation, CRM management, and analytics. The ideal candidate will work with HubSpot, Salesforce, and GA4 to build automated journeys, optimize segmentation, and deliver reliable reporting.

You will partner with RevOps, Sales, and Product to align data definitions and improve campaign performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing operations.
• Independent ownership of marketing operations improvements beyond campaigns.
• Hands-on HubSpot workflows, segmentation and data management.
• Experience with marketing attribution and funnel analysis.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated lifecycle journeys, triggers, and handoffs.
• Perform QA to ensure campaigns are error-free.
• Diagnose and improve email delivery, deliverability, and audience health.
• Design and evaluate campaign A/B tests with clear hypotheses.
• Maintain the marketing database with enrichment and data-quality checks.
• Own data-quality monitoring and collaborate on CRM definitions.
• Build dashboards across Salesforce, HubSpot, and GA4.
• Track KPIs, lead generation, funnel conversions, and ROI.
• Analyze performance and provide actionable optimization insights.
• Develop and validate lead and account scoring.
• Evaluate and adopt tools, including AI, to expand capabilities.
• Own ongoing optimizations beyond campaign execution.
• Advanced HubSpot workflows and data management.
• Ability to explain performance and deliver measurable improvements.
• Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and marketing automation.
• Experience with marketing attribution and funnel analysis.
