Position Overview

This role requires a strong leader who supports various marketing functions and is highly self-directed. As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will work both independently and in groups to lead pursuits, proposals, SOQs, and interview preparations. You will collaborate with teammates on complex sales and marketing projects and work closely with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership locally and nationally.

Position Responsibilities

1. Create persuasive proposals, presentations, and marketing materials by managing content development, drafting sections, editing for clarity, creating graphics, and preparing final documents.
2. Coordinate marketing activities such as advertising, direct mailing, event planning, award submissions, and conferences.
3. Develop and edit project descriptions, resumes, press releases, and other marketing content.
4. Support marketing and sales strategies, working with regional departments to identify marketplace needs.
5. Attend conferences and client meetings/debriefs as needed.
6. Maintain systems and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Follow safe work practices according to standards and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Skills, Education, and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or English, with 5–7 years of experience.
2. Hands-on experience with proposal creation and coordination.
3. Excellent writing, editing, formatting skills, and attention to detail.
4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in teams under tight deadlines.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Knowledge of architecture and engineering services is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated salary range: $70,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation varies based on experience, location, education, and skills.
