Qualifications

• Senior Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Economist: Master’s degree in Economics with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience in power system analysis, market design, econometrics, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering, statistical, and economic analyses on system and market operations.
• Develop and evaluate wholesale electricity market design initiatives and assess impact on market structure.
• Propose improvements to market models, algorithms, and tariff provisions.
• Develop and track key market performance indicators to evaluate conditions.
• Conduct economic modeling to assess data quality and proposed rule changes.
• Review compliance of market systems with tariff requirements and recommend modifications.
