Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to architect, deliver, and evolve complex robotic capabilities across the full product life-cycle. You will own customer-deployed technology solutions and act as SME for hardware, testing, perception, and cybersecurity, delivering value in a multi-stakeholder environment.

The role emphasizes holistic system ownership, mentoring junior engineers, and driving reusable components; travel up to 20% is required as you collaborate with end-users

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, CS, or engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience across domains.
• Ability to own a complex system from design through delivery.
• Capable of mentoring junior engineers and building team cohesion.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own technology solutions deployed to customers, delivering end-user value.
• Act as an SME for hardware, testing, perception, cybersecurity, and integration.
• Balance end-user needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Design, architect, and implement integrated systems with evolution paths.
• Contribute to reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Contribute to development processes for robotics systems, including testing and operation.
• Support manufacturing, testing, and deployment of vehicles and payloads.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 20% of the time.
• Mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds within a multi-disciplinary team.
