Marine Group Boat Works seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead shipyard refit and repair projects, interfacing with vessel owners and representatives. You will define scope, schedule work, and convey technical details to supervision and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality results.

Core duties include coordinating with the contracts department on change orders, monitoring budgets, and delivering status updates. Strong leadership and maritime PM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan multi-trade, multi-task projects; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.

• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Responsabilités

• Assist program and construction managers in managing project objectives, procedures and performance standards.
• Oversee budgets, scheduling, databases, and report progress to managers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors; manage labor and material schedules.
• Act as primary customer contact and communicate project status.
• Compile and submit schedules, logistics, and status reports to customers.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to discuss status, compliance, and risk.
• Review drawings for configuration management and task clarification.
• Administer ship repair projects including purchasing, planning, scheduling, production oversight, and invoicing.
• Determine scope of work to establish contract baseline and modify as needed.
• Schedule and approve subcontracts and temporary labor.
