Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Integrated Power Systems Engineer/Technician to design, develop, and deliver robust power solutions for a maritime portfolio.

This hands-on role covers assembly, testing, integration, and troubleshooting of power generation, storage, conversion, and distribution, with strong collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in electrical tech.
• 7+ years hands-on experience with power electronics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with battery packs and BMS.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic loads.
• Ability to collect data and analyze power system performance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and integrate power system components into product lines.
• Build, test, and calibrate power electronics modules against specs.
• Assist in setup and testing of power management systems.
• Install and troubleshoot cooling solutions for high-power components.
• Perform electrical and mechanical integration with motors, sensors, and computing units.
• Bridge electrical hardware and control software through PLCs/SCADA/HMI.
• Tune drives by adjusting VFD and motor parameters.
• Integrate motors with drives in compact units.
• Execute detailed test plans for performance, safety, reliability.
• Conduct EMI/EMC pre-compliance tests.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and production.
