Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Ports and Marine Project Manager to lead maritime projects across multiple offices, including Raleigh, Houston, San Diego, Irvine and Tampa.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, and client expectations within the Ports and Maritime Team. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering, 7+ years of marine/port experience, and a professional engineer license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years of post-education experience in marine/port design.
• Professional Engineer license (multi-state preferred).
• Competence with maritime codes (ASCE, COPRI) and DoD criteria.
• Ability to supervise staff using engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Take responsible charge for supervising staff engineers and task leads and overseeing calculations and drawings.
• Prepare technical studies and guide staff engineers.
• Oversee cost estimates, drawings and reports for marine projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and client presentations for port projects.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and staff estimates; mentor junior staff.
