Job summary

Anduril Industries’ Maritime Manufacturing Technology team seeks an Equipment Engineer, Maritime, to design and develop next-gen equipment and tooling for maritime vehicle production. You will layout production systems, run simulations, and build digital twins to enable rapid, on-time startup of the new production line.

The role requires 8+ years designing tools for large-scale manufacturing and the ability to work hands-on in a factory setting in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing tools, tooling, equipment and processes for manufacturing technology development.
• Experience implementing facilities, equipment and tooling for large-scale manufacturing.
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment adjacent to operations and manufacturing engineering.
• U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and create factory layouts and discreet designs for next-gen movement, tooling, and processing systems.
• Ensure cost- and schedule-efficient production-system solutions.
• Support start-up of production systems at new factory sites and ensure on-line delivery.
• Provide input on manufacturing processes, material flow and new technologies to meet timelines.
• Lead hands-on project execution and collaboration across teams and with external vendors.
