Anduril Industries seeks an seasoned Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer for its Undersea Reconnaissance & Strike team. You will prototype, design, and move hardware from concept to rate production, emphasizing manufacturability and reliability in maritime environments.

Customer-facing and cross-disciplinary, you’ll balance cost, performance, and schedule while advancing an ultra-long-range underwater platform and related vehicle variants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer.
• Experience taking a design from concept through iterations into a manufactured product.
• Ability to work on complex electromechanical systems end-to-end.
• Willing to learn and grow with the team.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Support the full product lifecycle from early prototype through rate production.
• Drive DFM into every decision to enable scalable production.
• Navigate a dynamic trade space with external constraints and evolving requirements.
• Contribute as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assess mechanical solutions for value, cost, and manufacturability.
• Make practical engineering trade-offs and maintain momentum.
• Interact with end-users to understand needs and gather feedback.
• Support integration and test activities.
