Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Senior Maritime Engineer to support U.S. Navy and DoD customers, leading engineering efforts across planning, design, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex maritime systems.

The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration with Government personnel, contractors, and shipyards, with opportunities to influence readiness, safety, and operational effectiveness of naval assets.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently evaluate technical problems and develop practical solutions.
Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical support for U.S. Navy maritime, waterfront, and ocean engineering programs and projects.
Support planning, design, development, integration, testing, evaluation, installation, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of maritime systems and equipment.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, data packages, calculations, procedures, manuals, and other technical docs.
Coordinate with Navy customers, program managers, vendors, shipyards, and other stakeholders.
Support development of technical reports, cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.
Provide on-site engineering support during testing, installation, maintenance, repair, and field operations.
