Job summary

You will work across all phases of projects, fabricate new parts, lead others, and ensure adherence to company and industry standards. The ideal candidate has 2 years of industry experience, electrical safety knowledge, and relevant certifications (HAZWOPER, forklift, CPR/First Aid). Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Requires 2 years of industry experience.
  • Functional understanding of electricity and safe practices.
  • HAZWOPER certification (40 hours) required.
  • Forklift and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Welding, brazing, soldering or metal work experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform diesel engine repairs across the fleet.
  • Design, test, and implement new systems and solutions.
  • Mentor Marine Mechanics and oversee projects to timely completion.
  • Repair pilothouse electronics and diagnose vessel media systems.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and supervise work.
