Job summary

RINA North America seeks a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to lead berthing and waterfront infrastructure design from concept to handover across multiple U.S. offices including Houston, Sunrise/Ft. Lauderdale, Boston, and Chicago/Lisle.

The role requires a Texas PE license and 10+ years in marine structures, with expertise in pile-driven construction, fender systems, and mooring analyses. Strong coordination with CAD/BIM and mooring software is essential.

Qualifications

Texas PE license required.
Minimum 10 years in marine structural engineering for pile-supported waterfronts.
Experience with hurricane-exposed Gulf Coast environments and soft coastal clays.
Experience with USACE permit drawing standards.

Responsibilities

Lead marine structural engineering for berthing and waterfront infrastructure from concept through construction and handover.
Prepare construction drawings, structural calculations and technical specs; perform constructability analyses.
Supervise piling, pile driving and structural erection; QA/QC on coatings and cathodic protection.
