Job summary

RINA seeks a Senior Stability Plan Approval Engineer to join our Florida office. You will review and approve loadline assignments, intact and damage stability booklets, and related stability documentation for newbuilds, in service ships, and conversions.

You will advise clients during design and construction, ensuring compliance with international rules and class society requirements, including SOLAS and MARPOL, across a broad vessel range.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship stability, design, or marine operations.
• Experience with stability software tools and conducting ship stability assessments.
• Proven experience reviewing and approving stability plans for new and existing vessels in line with SOLAS, MARPOL and class rules.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve loadline assignments, intact and damage stability booklets, and ballast water management plans.
• Provide guidance during design and construction phases related to stability matters.
• Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS and local regulations during plan approvals.
