Marine Ventures International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sustainment and engineering support for government-owned Marine Handling Systems.

The role will oversee planning, execution, and reporting for field events and contract deliverables from Oxnard, CA or Newport, RI offices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in marine/defense project management, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of shipboard mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and weight handling systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in marine/defense environments.
• Experience supporting DoD or government contracts is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution for sustainment, repair, testing, training, and engineering support.
• Coordinate with Government technical personnel and field teams for meetings, decisions, and field-event requirements.
• Plan and support shipboard and shore-based field activities, including travel and equipment coordination.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians to evaluate maintenance requirements, discrepancies, and testing.
• Monitor budgets and forecast cost-to-complete, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and safety standards.
