Job summary

Marine Ventures International, Inc. (MVI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead sustainment and engineering support for government-owned Marine Handling Systems (MHS).

The role is based in Oxnard, CA or Newport, RI with CONUS/OCONUS travel as required. You will plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects, manage budgets and subcontractors, and serve as the primary interface with Government technical personnel and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex technical projects, schedules, budgets, and customer communications.
• Strong knowledge of shipboard weight handling equipment, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and clear communication with government customers, engineers, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee project schedules, work plans, staffing, and field-event execution.
• Lead project meetings, track action items, and manage cost and schedule variances.
• Coordinate staffing and field support for CONUS/OCONUS sustainment events aboard vessels and at Navy facilities.
• Manage budgets, labor forecasts, procurement needs, subcontractor support, and monthly status.
• Review technical and field documentation to ensure government requirements are met.
