Job summary

Shoptalk is seeking an experienced customer-facing Field Application Engineer to coordinate Sea Machines product deployment in marine vessels, based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of relevant experience and will travel to customer sites worldwide.

This role requires strong skills in installing complex technology products and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for monitoring product performance, responding to inquiries, and maintaining team communications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of installation and service experience for complex hardware/software technology products.
• Background in supporting marine systems, controls, PLCs and electronics.
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and test equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation and commissioning of Sea Machines products in marine vessels.
• Monitor product performance in customer fleets.
• Respond to customer support inquiries and resolve field issues.
