Job summary

Sea Machines Robotics is seeking a Project Manager, Marine Systems to lead planning, execution, and completion of complex customer projects beyond standard product sales. The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.

The candidate should have a engineering background with 7+ years in project management and 5+ years in marine industries, plus travel willingness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
7+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, application engineering, field engineering, or similar.
5+ years of experience in marine, maritime, naval or offshore industries.
PMP or other project management certification is a nice-to-have.
US citizen.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Define project scope and goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
Identify and allocate resources needed for project success.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
Oversee daily project operations and ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Manage project budgets and track expenses.
Allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
Ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and address issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, including status reports and performance metrics.
Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project status and objectives.
Maintain clear and open communication with team members and stakeholders.
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Implement and monitor quality control processes.
Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
Deliver final project reports and presentations to stakeholders.
