Job summary

Cajun Industries is seeking a Site Manager to lead overall inland marine construction operations, including docks, wharves, bulkheads, cofferdams, and marine terminals. You will own schedule, cost performance, client relationships, and site safety while guiding Project Superintendents who manage day-to-day field work.

You will report to the Senior Construction Manager and serve as the senior field leader for the site, coordinating with owners and Cajun leadership on your portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in marine, heavy civil, or industrial construction.
• Experience overseeing multiple crews, projects, or Superintendents.
• Working knowledge of pile driving operations, marine equipment, and waterway/dock construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership for inland marine construction projects.
• Oversee Project Superintendents and field leadership on assigned site(s).
• Own schedule, manpower, equipment, and cost performance across the site/project portfolio.
• Build and maintain client relationships as primary contact for owners and clients.
• Monitor site safety performance and ensure OSHA/regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate equipment, barge, and marine resource allocation across projects.
