Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking a Superintendent to direct construction activities across buildings, dams, highways, pipelines, and related projects. You will lead supervisory teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule adherence, and cost control on multiple sites.

Responsibilities include planning based on specs, assembling crews, procuring tools and materials, and maintaining clear communication with management and field personnel to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and field workers.
• Familiarity with safety policies and site safety practices.
• Experience planning procedures based on project timelines and staffing.
• Ability to review cost data and assist in cost projections.

Responsibilities

• Preserve profit and implement company safety policies.
• Study specifications to plan procedures and staffing for each phase.
• Assemble project team at start of project and coordinate procurement.
• Resolve issues with supervisory personnel and subcontractors to avoid delays.
• Inspect progress to ensure workmanship meets specifications and schedule.
• Prepare reports on progress, materials, and costs; adjust schedules as needed.
• Direct maintenance or reconditioning work on existing installations.
• Coordinate warranty work, field coverage, and cross-site communication.
