Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking an Area Project Superintendent to coordinate with the jobsite superintendent and project management to direct construction activities in the field. You will study specifications to plan procedures for construction based on schedules, staffing, and other variables for each phase.

You will direct field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring safety and adherence to schedules while coordinating multiple construction phases to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., may occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and field workers
• Ability to use math and perform calculations
• Detail-oriented with strong leadership and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

• Order procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules
• Coordinate with management to resolve workforce issues
• Inspect work to ensure workmanship matches specifications and schedules
• Prepare and review progress and cost reports
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet company expectations
• Quality control and development of employees
• Assist other craft workers as needed
