Job summary

Outside Interactive, Inc. seeks a Senior Product Designer for MapMy to set the design vision across the MapMy portfolio and define an AI-accelerated design practice within our organization.

You will conduct user research, ship polished UI in Figma, and stand up AI-assisted prototypes to validate ideas before a sprint begins. You will own MapMy design end-to-end, mentor designers, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership.

Qualifications

• This role requires 7+ years shipping consumer-facing mobile or web products and a demonstrated portfolio of end-to-end design leadership.
• Expert Figma proficiency and daily use of AI tools in design workflow.
• Deep understanding of iOS, Android, and responsive web design principles.
• Experience collaborating with senior Product, Engineering, and Data leaders in an agile environment; mentoring designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across MapMy's mobile (iOS/Android) and web experiences, owning high-leverage surfaces.
• Define and evolve an AI-accelerated design practice using tools like Claude, Cursor, and v0.
• Build functional, interactive prototypes quickly to validate concepts with users and stakeholders.
• Own the MapMy design system and component library, ensuring consistency across the product suite.
• Drive the research agenda with Product—interviews, usability tests, and competitive analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to align design strategy with business goals.
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers, lead design reviews, raise craft standards.
• Define design success metrics and lead post-launch analysis using A/B results and data.
• Deliver polished design specs, redlines, and assets; supplement with prototypes when beneficial.
• Set visual, interaction, and motion standards for MapMy ensuring WCAG accessibility.
