Job summary

Wanderboat AI is seeking a Product Designer (UX/UI) with 1–3 years of experience to shape an AI-native map discovery experience. You’ll own end-to-end design for mobile and web, collaborating with engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to create simple, human interfaces that feel crafted.

You’ll design AI-powered user flows, translate complex ideas into intuitive interfaces, and contribute to a cohesive product that blends feed and map experiences for local discovery.

Qualifications

• Around 1–3 years of product design experience for mobile-first consumer apps.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and decision making.
• Strong foundations in product, interaction, and visual design.
• Ability to create AI experiences that feel distinctive and polished.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design across Wanderboat’s feed, map, search and pages.
• Translate strategy into intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Raise usability and visual craft across web and mobile platforms.
• Design AI-powered experiences with clear explanations and controls.
• Shape map-centric experiences and community-focused features.
