Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Technical Training and Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of technical training, skill-based pay programs, workforce development, and safety initiatives across manufacturing locations.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Plant Leadership to ensure employees have the competencies to perform safely, efficiently, and consistently, while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing/engineering/organizational development or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, operations, technical training, equipment/safety standards, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a standardized technical training strategy across all facilities.
• Design and maintain curricula for production, maintenance, engineering, quality, warehouse, and support functions.
• Coordinate training tied to skill-based pay, qualifications, and certifications.
• Establish a Train-the-Trainer program to grow plant-based SMEs.
• Maintain a master training schedule and oversee records in LMS/HRIS.
• Identify skill gaps with leadership to support career pathways and succession planning.
• Manage relationships with external training providers and component suppliers.
• Lead safety program development aligned with OSHA requirements and industry best practices.
