Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own production test flow and drive high-throughput, high-quality test methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years in manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiar with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in testing PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Familiar with electronics test equipment (power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors).
• Strong root cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware.
• Familiar with PLM systems, MES, and TES.
• Experience integrating electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own production test flow and maintain test activities in production.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues found during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.
• Improve automation, test coverage, and reduce cycle time (DfM).
• Create test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause and recommend corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering for returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NPIs.
• Analyze test data and generate detailed improvement reports.
• Advise design engineers on product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes.
