The Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer will own end-to-end test development for high‑quality hardware on the production line. The role emphasizes building new test stations, defining requirements with design teams, improving automation and data analytics, and sustaining test capabilities across MES/TES environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Experience spanning test development, test requirements definition, test plan creation, and station/tester build, plus production test and sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies and knowledge of PCBA testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow, with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Own the full test lifecycle for assigned products, from planning through tester development and long-term sustainment on the line.
• Define tests by deriving requirements from system design and collaborating with design engineers.
• Develop new test stations from the ground up and integrate them into the production line.
• Write test plans, build/test sequences, and acceptance criteria for new products and scalable processes.
• Maintain test capabilities across the value stream from system checkouts to component-level validation.
• Improve automation, consistency, and test coverage; reduce total cycle time.
• Train technicians on equipment use and develop troubleshooting guidance.
