Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tucson is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer to deploy and validate manufacturing capabilities across CGO programs. You will lead the integration of processes, workflows, tooling, and instructions to ensure robust, scalable factory readiness and improved takt performance, yield, and throughput.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, plus hands-on experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, production system integration, or factory development.
• Lean manufacturing, takt-based flow, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Ability to identify, characterize, and address manufacturing constraints using data and hands-on methods.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and optimize manufacturing workflows, tooling, instructions, and layouts.
• Identify constraints using data and on-the-floor evaluation to improve flow and throughput.
• Implement capacity-increasing improvements including takt, layouts, and instruction refinements.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and support readiness events and go-live activities.
